Dryshod Introduces New Wide-Toe Waterproof Work Boot

Conklin, NY — Dryshod, the new benchmark in performance waterproof footwear for work and outdoor recreation, has developed a new waterproof work boot with enhanced toe room for all-day-wear comfort.

The Big Bobby introduces a special broad-toe last that provides an extra 3mm of space in the toe box for added comfort when wearing heavy socks and to improve air circulation for those warm days in the field.

Built on a rugged, solid-rubber sole that is not only long-wearing but also oil- and slip-resistant, this boot includes extra rubber layers reinforcing the heel and toe to reduce long-term abrasion and to provide added stiffness in these critical areas. Additional support comes from an integrated steel shank while a higher toe spring reduces fatigue.

The Big Bobby comes in two models for men—one with a hi- and one with a mid-size roll-down calf pipe. Both boots feature a 5mm DENSOPRENE® foam insulated bootie that is 100-percent waterproof and is lined with a 4-way stretch breathable airmesh to minimize moisture to keep feet dry. Outside, the DENSOPRENE® calf pipe is treated with a HYDROKOTE® water-repellent coating to prevent moisture saturation.
